PRESS & EDUCATION

Clinically grounded commentary on relationships, desire, and emotional connection. Available nationwide for interviews, speaking, and workshops.

Areas of focus

I speak and write about intimacy and relationships in ways that are honest, hopeful, and grounded in real-life dynamics.

My work is sex-positive and practical, rooted in the belief that meaningful connection is possible through clearer communication, emotional safety, and realistic expectations- not through clichés or quick fixes.

✓ Desire and intimacy in long-term relationships

✓ Sexual anxiety and avoidance

✓ Shame and its impact on connection

✓ Communication and relational repair

✓ Resentment and disconnection

✓ Cultural myths about sex and “normal” relationships

✓ Infidelity and betrayal

I’m Gabby.

I’m a licensed couples and sex therapist, and my work focuses on intimacy, desire, and emotional connection in real relationships.

I’m often consulted for a clear, non-sensational perspective on topics that are frequently oversimplified or misunderstood in conversations about intimacy and relationships. I focus on education, emotional safety, and realistic expectations, while still holding a hopeful view of long-term connection.

  • Clinical ideas about intimacy and attachment are only helpful if they’re understandable and relevant. I focus on translating complex concepts into clear, practical language that reflects how relationships actually function, not just how they’re described in theory.

  • Sex is often discussed in extremes: either trivialized or treated as a crisis. My approach is sex-positive and grounded, context and nuance rather than fear or performance.

  • Many relationship challenges make more sense when viewed within the realities of long-term partnership and change. I focus on contextualizing these dynamics without blame or oversimplification, supporting more honest and realistic conversations about connection.

  • Differences in desire, communication struggles, and periods of disconnection are common, especially in long-term relationships. I approach these concerns without assuming something is “wrong,” focusing instead on understanding patterns, context, and the conditions that support reconnection.
